Trust and security

Outrun does not store your prompts, images or outputs unless you choose to save them.

What we keep

• Account and sign-in details, preferences, and session and security records.
• Your balance, top-ups, credit and redemption records, and your API keys.
• A usage record for each request: model, request ID, time, token counts, status and cost. Usage records never contain your prompts, images or outputs.
• If you connect Google, its verified email address, used for reload receipts and account and security notices.

What we don’t keep

• The prompts, images or outputs of your API requests.
• Temporary Playground chats. New chats start with saving off and are cleared when you refresh or close the page.

Kept only when you choose

• Playground history you choose to save. It is encrypted at rest with keys managed by Outrun. This is not end-to-end encryption.
• Media jobs, which can keep prompts, settings and results so you can collect them.
• Messages and attachments you send to support.

Apps you connect to Outrun may keep their own copies. Website analytics never receives your prompts, responses, API keys or payment details, and you can turn it off. The Privacy Policy has the full details.

When you choose a model ID, that’s the model that runs your request. Outrun never swaps in a cheaper model behind the scenes.

You don’t have to take our word for it. An open-source model detector tests our GPT and Claude models through the public API, and every result is published on the Model transparency page.

Every model has a published price before you send a request. See the pricing page or the price list as JSON.

Found a security problem in Outrun? Email support@outrun.to with:

• what you found and why it matters,
• the steps to reproduce it,
• the affected page, URL or API endpoint, and any request IDs.

Please report it to us before sharing it publicly. Don’t access or change other people’s data, and don’t disrupt the service.

Never send your full API key or password. Outrun support will never ask for them. If a key may have leaked, replace it on the API keys page right away.

The Status page shows every model as Online, Intermittent or Maintenance, with the share of recent checks that succeeded and the average response time. Image, audio and video models are checked when they’re used.

Signed in, the Models page in your dashboard shows the same status next to each model.

Use Outrun lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Don’t use it to spread malware, steal credentials, harass people, share private information without permission, infringe intellectual property or get around security controls. Don’t interfere with the service, probe it without permission or abuse trial credit.

Child safety on every model. Child sexual abuse material and any sexual content involving anyone under 18 are prohibited on every Outrun model, including uncensored, abliterated, image and video models.

You must be 18 or older to use Outrun. Outrun may limit or suspend access for misuse. The full rules are in the Terms of Service.

Outrun is run by the Outrun team and has been live since October 2026.
