# How to pay for Outrun API credit by card

> Add Outrun API credit by debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), $5 to $250 per payment. Credit is added once the payment is verified.

## How do I pay by card?

Card payments run on the Balance page of your dashboard. There is nothing to install.

  ### Open Balance
  Sign in at outrun.to and open [Balance](https://outrun.to/balance). If you are signed out, you are asked to sign in first.

  ### Choose Card and an amount
  Under Add balance, pick the Card tab, then a preset or your own amount from $5 to $250.

  ### Pay in the secure checkout
  Enter your card details in the checkout on the page. Credit is added as soon as the payment is verified, and the new balance shows on Balance.

## What are the card payment limits?

The checkout shows the limits that apply to you when you choose an amount.

Charged in US dollars. Your balance gets the full amount you choose, before any sales tax.

## What will I see on my card statement?

The charge comes from Link, our payment partner, not from “Outrun”. Link is the merchant of record for card payments.

- Sales tax may be added at checkout, depending on where you live.
- Your Outrun balance always gets the full amount you chose.
- You get two receipts: one from Outrun, one from Link.

A few card payments are held for a quick review before credit is added.

## Refunds and help

Card credit follows the same rules as every other top-up.

### Which cards can I use?

Visa, Mastercard and American Express, debit or credit. Card payments are charged in USD, so your bank may add foreign transaction fees.

### Why does my statement show Link and not Outrun?

Link is our payment partner and the merchant of record for card payments, so your card statement and the separate payment receipt show the charge from Link.

### Does Outrun store my card?

No. Card details go straight to our payment processor over an encrypted connection. Outrun never sees or stores your card number.

### Do card payments get the reload bonus?

No. Reload bonuses are for crypto top-ups and do not apply to card payments. Your balance gets the amount you choose.

### Will sales tax be added?

It can be, depending on where you live. Any tax is shown at checkout and added to the charge. Your Outrun balance gets the full amount you chose, before tax.
